Foreign Owner and Ship-Managers Association (FOSMA) is an association of 38 foreign shipping companies in India. These companies are operating their business all over the world. The main aim of FMIRO (Fosma Maritime Institute and Research Organisation) is to bridge the training gap and promote maritime education and training in India.
Different units of FMIRO in Delhi, Mumbai and Kolkata are conducting various post-sea courses.
HIMSAR in Haldia is conducting core pre-sea training under its umbrella.
